Phew!!! That got over......

Some days start with so hustle bustle and panic that I wait for the clock to strike 12 and announce the beginning of a new day.

Anyways, some very weird things happened as I reached office and the day started. Well, I work in an IT company which is a big software giant in India. And I have been recently transferred to a new place. So as all the IT companies have the same story of bench strength, shortage of resources n blah blah, my company also is no exception. So let me tell you about a typical day in my life. My days are never complete without all the tensions and plannings and executing and then and unknown fear that something is gonna happen. Anyways I had three tragedies in a day guys..Here they are...

Tragedy No.1

I have no place to sit, no PC to work on and all my friends here are in a secured place where I can't enter without permission, so what do I do whole day?? I sit and stare at my cell so that the people passing by think I am either surfing net or messaging...;-) N I was getting so bored there sitting all alone that I thought of taking a quick round-up of my floor. I took out my cell phone and kept my bag inside the drawer cabinet in my cubicle. After loitering around for about half an hour I returned back to my cubicle and my jaw dropped and with a thud it touched ground....

The drawer cabinet was missing.. Ya really.. the wooden drawer cabinet with three drawers and weighing approx. 10-12 kg was missing. The only thought that crossed my mind at that instant was that i don't have a PC and how will I raise the request to the housekeeping department for my lost bag. Then i saw a guy and asked him if he had seen someone moving the cabinet. Thank GOD!! he told me that he had seen some guys sneaking it to their cubicle. Voila!! I found my bag. :)

Tragedy No.2

My stupidity has no boundaries.. yup that is me ..(sheepish grin).
I had to travel to my hometown on weekend and I happily browsed through the IRCTC website and booked the ticket for 1 o’ clock. Then I started packing my stuff and at about 8 o’ clock at night my father called me to ask about my train timings and coach no. n all. I told him to which he was confused as in by which train was I coming? I instead boasted that ya there is a train at that time. He said he will call me back and I cheekily said yeah sure.
He called me back and told me how stupid I was to book tickets for night 1 a.m. instead of afternnon. It seems there was no train in afternoon at 1 p.m. Oops ...
I then checked out my travel history on the site and yes my father was absolutely right. I did’t even bothered to check that the clock in railways and airways and basically all the transportation sites run on a 24 hour clock system.
And so stupid of me I booked wrong tickets not once but twice.. yeah due to some technical glitch I thought my tickets aren’t booked and I booked the wrong one’s once more Yeah yeah .. I had a really bad day L.
It didn’t ended here. Then again I booked the right tickets but at the last moment I got a carpool to my city and eventually had to cancel all the bookings. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the IRCTC people don’t block my ID because of all this booking and cancelling drama.

Tragedy No.3
So, I am new in the city and in hunt for a house to share with a gal. I searched the house n booked it and all but then again came to know from someone that she is again hunting for a roommate.
Then,  I again contacted that gal and clarified the situation . Thankfully my space was already booked in that house.
But now I kinda regret living there because umm.. I mean I am not blaming her or anything but I am a lively person and I like life to be colorful n when I am living away from my parents I want to sleep late and eat junk food and browse internet and watch T.V. whole day long.. Well I don't think that I am having any unreasonable demands or anything. I don't even have a boyfriend so I just want to be myself and laze around in house, but she is quite the opposite .. kinda mummy types..with everything properly done and all.. And worse of all . I am a big time foodie and an awesome cook.. ya.. bite me for saying that But I really am an awesome cook and I specialize in snacks and special dishes and she .. yuks .. she sucks in making a normal pulav and she tortures me with her bad cooking.. Well, I don't know how I will survive with her after returning back ..
In any case I will keep you guys posted.. :)
Till then XOXO.. keep rocking..:)

Results.. Happy Results......

Hey dolls !!
So, as I had told you all earlier, that I will take out some time from my lazy schedule  for my skincare routine and take it as a challenge to follow up daily.
Well, so here are the results .....
I am very happy that I did this, my skin tone and texture has not only improved but also the tan is removed. Though I cannot deny the fact that I am not going out in the sun but still Multani mitti has worked wonders again for me. This time I have vowed to stick to this multani mitti pack  and follow it religiously.
As I am experimenting a lot and changing up the things in my beauty routine so this time what I did is,  I mixed up this multani mitti face pack with the no-marks face pack in equal amounts. So this will remove oil and tan plus blemishes. Yeah, I really did see the difference and I recommend this to everyone.
Some people might have a bit of tingling sensation because of the no-marks pack but that is for about 1 min and I think that sensation  tells that the pack is working. Hehe
Next is my body care routine, I had severely tanned arms and feet. And tada.. all the tan has gone and I could not really believe that I have so smooth and clean feet. I moisturized them daily at night and did pedicure at home. On my arms and feet I also applied lemon juice. It has acidic properties which removes tan and makes the skin clear and supple.
And last but not the least my hair. I have straightened hair and they were turning out to be a mess before this routine. But now they are back to silky and smooth and look very healthy.
Overall, I did completed this challenge and I am very happy with the results.
So dolls, do mail me any queries that you have and Ill be happy to help
Till then XOXO .. bbyeee...

Anna movement has shook the Indian blood in me.....

Got up early and switched on the television to watch how Anna is doing. Doctors said he need to go to hospital but he declined saying his conscious does not allows him to and he wants to fight for this cause. Hearing this my heart began to wonder, a man who has not married, served in army, lives on a meager amount of pension, has kept several fasts earlier for the benefit of his village Ralegaon in Maharashtra is still declining even a glucose drip in spite of his degrading condition.
On the other hand look at the government’s conscious, they have been exposed fully in front of people, deep dug in scams and scandals, still they are on their ground that they won’t give into Anna’s apt demands.
Day 9 of his fast and his condition is deteriorating  continuously. The news channel people are busy giving their live feeds. Reporters busy in catching the latest scoop. People are gathered and dancing as if some fair is going on. The hooligans sort of dance bare chest in rain with the Tiranga in hand. Government gives some useless basis for not giving in to his demands. My family on the other hand is divided with me and my father glued on to the t.v. to watch what is going on with my brother constantly whining to switch the channel to discovery turbo and my mom wanting to see some serial.
I am sure this could be the scene in many homes. Bills gets passed. New laws are made. What difference does it makes to us?? We are too scared to report against any officer because who knows what penalty we have to pay if we complaint.  In my opinion this bill will only be effective if common people like us are assured that we will not suffer on the hands of powerful people.
I hope some solution comes and Anna breaks his fast.
Jai Anna. Jai Hind.

Cramming It In

 1. So flustered. Big work due in some days. To-Do lists out of control. Summer is more than half over and I haven't accomplished one quarter of the things I wanted to. Garr.r..

2. I also think I lost my patience somewhere, if you find it, let me know.

3. Big question.. Why is it that whenever I interact with someone, they tend to cling on to me with their life and problems and then they want me to be at their service 24*7 advising them on there moves???

4. After earlier four unsuccessful attempts..... reading Angels and Demons again and this time really enjoying the plot...Dan Brown is good.

5.And lastly, I thought I would start a blog and monitor my life. But as of now, it seems laziness is much bigger than newly found blog-love.
Hoping something good comes in my way..XOXO...

Challenge of the month

Hi dolls!
As I am on vacation, so now a days I am being very very.y.y lazy in all the things, because of which my skin is suffering the most, of course after my health..hehe ( Getting fat  )
Anyways, so my skin is oily –combination which gets dry in winters. And as it is summer time so the freckles in my skin are on their high. Off lately I have noticed that the pores on my skin are getting larger and more visible, though I have never noticed this before. I have also noticed that when I go out in summers my skin looks very bad with large pores and oil and shine. So, I have decided that while I am on holidays I can at least take out some time from my lazy schedule to pamper my skin.
Here is what I have decided to do for a month.
Morning routine for face:-
1.      Wash my face with water apply lemon juice and leave it for 15-20 min.
2.      Wash it off and apply multani mitti pack until dry.
3.      After washing it apply ice cube for 2-3 min.
4.      Wash with an oil controlling face wash.
5.      Apply toner.
6.      Apply a day cream that is moisturizing and light but not oily.
7.      Also scrub twice/thrice a week
Lemon juice helps in clearing skin and also helps in lightening the blemishes and freckles. It stings a bit but that is momentary and it will go after 1-2 min.
Multani mitti is used to absorb oil from skin and it also helps in removing tan. I have earlier also used this pack and my face was oil free and also much brighter as the tan got removed. So I will again give it a try and hope the results replicate.
For preparing this pack, I take multani mitti and soak it in water for some time, then I add a bit of rose water and mix it well. I have the original multani mitti and not the powdered and packaged one. So this is in the rock form and it takes a while to dissolve in water. If you have powdered one that comes in packets in market then you can just mix it in rose water and apply on face.

Night routine for face:-

1.      Clean with a good cleanser
2.      Wash with a good face wash
3.      Apply toner
4.      Apply a good night cream
5.      After that an eye cream
           6.    Lip balm

Routine for Body:-

1.      Daily cleanse thoroughly
2.      Scrub twice a week
3.      Applylemon rind on elbows in morning
4.      Moisturize full body after bath and before sleeping
5.      Foot lotion at night

Weekly once:-

1.      Pedicure
2.      Manicure
3.      Face clean up
4.      Hair mask or hair oil once a week
